Lebanon's hidden gem!!
Food and service we're stellar. Outhouse decorated bathroom was quaint and cute. Only downside was they don't take cards. Cash only.
I was hopeful as most small town cafe's seem to go the extra mile but, i was not impressed. I had the chicken strips and fries. Fries were very hot but tasted like cardboard. I assume they were reheated? I sat at the counter and watched the cook who, while competent, took lots of short cuts, (hash browns sitting in a pile staying warm but end up soggy and no more crispness, fries for the "to go" orders got no salt, omelets overcooked and instead of a gentle fold, cracked at the bend point and just smothered with the bisquit gravy to hide it...etc).
Small town atmosphere. Great food. Cozy.
Staff was very friendly. Seating a bit old and bathroom is down a very thin hallway behind the grill, unisex.
Kevin's Cafe is always great; good food & wonderful service! Friendly atmosphere!
I probably will look for other options next time.
This place serves food you might get if you were, say at a farm while feeding the ranch hands. Not "bad" per se just, not really up to standards for a business serving the public.
