A landlord is prohibited from making a judgement about INCOME when a HOUSING CERTIFICATE is provided. WE WERE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST, and action against Heritage NW is in the works!
I started renting from Heritage NW Property Management in October of 2015. They were extremely helpful and friendly with me and made sure that they took care of any needs that may have arisen. The owners of the property had their own "maintenance" person that was supposed to do the maintenance if anything needed done but this individual was slow and did sloppy work. Heritage NW made sure that if anything needed to be done they would be right on top of it and make sure it was completed. The dishwasher in my home went out and the owners told their maintenance guy to "fix" it but it was so old that there was no possibility of doing so. Heritage NW made sure that a new dishwasher was put in the unit and it was completed within 24 hours.
Yesterday 2/27/17 I submitted an app. with my partner for our family. We have a 14 yr old boy and are living in a motor-home. We have an Housing Certificate from C.S.C.
First Lori said ,the unit I was applying for wouldn't pass inspection. Having known the property owner, I know it will and has. I have done repairs to this unit in past to make it pass for past tenants. After I explained this to her she said that we don't make 3 times the rent.
If you make more than 3 times the rent.... YOU PROBABLY OWN YOUR OWN HOME.
So my gma has been liveing in this house for about 14 years and we just got new managers heritage nw property mangment and they have not done anything to do with this house that needs to be done for hud we have about 1acer of BlackBerrys and are roof leeks in like 5 places and we told them all about this stuff they are back stabers and thefs and fat ass biches who are rude and have no maners
I truly appreciate everything that they did for me and I know that there have been some bad reviews about them, but they were nothing but nice and friendly to me and my family. If I hadn't purchased a new house I would definitely have stayed with them for renting a home. New owner is an amazing person and made sure to help me anytime I needed it, maintenance person same and also the office lady. Fast, friendly and reliable. I would recommend that if you need to rent a home then contact Heritage NW first.
Two days ago Heritage NW property management took application fees from me with a first come first serve basis for a house, at that time I was told I was first on the list. This morning I call to check on the application and was informed that a previously approved applicant wanted the property, and there for they got first dibs on the property even though I was promised the house for my family. They have no other available propertys for my family and I, and are refusing to refund my money. My personal opinion is they took my money with no intentions of renting to me, just getting free money for nothing. GIVE THEM MONEY AT YOUR OWN RISK, THEY WILL KEEP ALL AND EVERYTHING, AND GIVE YOU FALSE HOPE AND PROMISES. The lady had the audacity to give me an attitude when I asked for a refund of my money if they didn't have a place for my family to live like they promised.
I give Heritage far less than one star!!!! Had to put one to post!

The property management side of this business is a joke. I rented property from this company and paid a security deposit like most when I moved in. I lived in the property for 5 months. After moving out and receiving my security deposit refund a month later I had been charged $300.00 for carpet cleaning and detailed cleaning of the property after just a short 5 month stay. I am a very clean and detailed person and know that this was not necessary!!! This company is making bank off peoples deposit money by creating false expenses and keeping the funds. Renters beware because no matter how clean or nice you keep your rental you will not receive your full deposit back. What a joke!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU for poor business practice!!!!!!!!!!!!
