DONT RENT FROM THEM.....We live hours away from this place, we took over a unit for my father to help him out since he is elderly, we were never informed that she would not accept credit/debit cards over the phone, must go in person. We explained we lived over the mountain and several hours away, so we got a late fee. But the crazy thing is the late fee mysteriously changes from month to month even when it's the same number of days late. I called the owner who would tell me nothing, since it's in my husbands name. But from reading many other reviews I know I'm not the only one who is disappointed with there customer service.
Worst run business around. The office mgr acts as if she hates her customers. She doesn't answer the phone or return msgs. The don't have automatic payment options so you have to either stop by every month to pay, or mail a check every month. If a check gets delayed in the mail, instead of calling or emailing you to check on it, they deactivate your access code, and you can't even get in. Since they're only there for a few hours on Sat. a.m., you're up a creek if there's an access problem from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning. Can't wait to get my stuff out of this h***hole.
Terrible business they will lie and steal your money and do everything they can to cover their end legally. Professional scammers
Leah has always been kind courteous and helpful with anything I have needed. The storage units are clean and well maintained.
We have been renting from starlite storage for a very long time & the only problems we've ever encountered were when they had a business owned by Laurie John resurfacing the whole storage complex & her employees & brother were causing problems with the tenants that were coming in to their units. My husband & I had a confrontation with her brother telling us to get out & the owners told him to leave us alone & allowed us to continue to get to our unit. My husband & her brother were close to fighting when the owners told him to go away.
